JUDO CLASSES FOR KIDS
At Grappling University Martial Arts, our Judo classes for kids focus on teaching fundamental techniques in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Kids learn the principles of respect, discipline, and physical fitness while enjoying the process of mastering Judo throws and holds.
What is Judo?
Judo techniques (waza) are categorized into throwing (nagewaza), grappling (katame-waza), and attacking vital points (atemiwaza). Our Judo classes focus on the first two, which are used in competition, while atemi-waza is practiced for understanding. Judo emphasizes agility, loose and natural movements, and respect.
