Brazilian Jiu Jitsu For Teens & Adults
Our Adult BJJ classes focus on grappling and ground fighting techniques derived from Kodokan Judo. Developed by pioneers like Takeo Yano, Mitsuyo Maeda, and Soshihiro Satake, BJJ emphasizes leverage and technique, allowing smaller individuals to defend against larger opponents. JUDO CLASSES
FOR Teens & Adults
Our Teen & Adult Judo classes teach traditional throwing (nagewaza) and grappling (katamewaza) techniques. Judo emphasizes agility, balance, and efficient movement, making it an excellent martial art for both self-defense and competitive sports. Our experienced instructors provide personalized guidance to help you master the art of Judo.

During your first class at GUMA, you’ll be introduced to the basics of either Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Striking or Judo, depending on your choice. Our instructors will guide you through warm-ups, basic techniques, and light drills. You won’t need any previous experience—just a willingness to learn!
